NOT FOR LITTLE BOYS

About a boy – AyJay -who is fascinated by an old rusty padlock which doesn’t have a key. He identifies with the padlock in so much as his emotions are all locked up inside. His relationship with his grandfather is also a ‘key’ factor in the story.

Based on a real life story of a boy who spent time with the school chaplain.

Ayjay has a hard time dealing with anger and grief following the separation of his parents followed by the death of one of his grandparents.
